I knew the day after I got married that I did not want my dress to be preserved in a box (like my mother did and the dress is still there) or get shoved under the bed somewhere (like my sister in law). Realistically, I knew my younger sister would not wear the dress because she is much taller and a different body type. So after the wedding I started searching for what to do and came across the "The Patchwork Bear".
Nobody was super excited when initially told them what I was going to do. My mom kept questioning why I would want to cut up my wedding dress. Until everyone say the bears.
They were gorgeous. Each bear is unique (I ordered three) and has detail from my wedding dress. Everyone loves them, and now my mom is getting ready to send her wedding dress in and do the same thing! Thanks "Patchwork Bear"!
